アジサイ（紫陽花、英名・学名: Hydrangea）とはアジサイ科アジサイ属の植物の総称である。学名は「水の容器」という意味で、そのまま「ヒドランジア」あるいは「ハイドランジア」ということもある。また、英語では「ハイドレインジア」と呼ぶ。
